Michael: My organization, Birth2Work, is working the drop out problem on a state wide basis in Illinois. On my website I have entire series of pages devoted to the topic based on actual work we're doing to influence thinking on the subject from the State Superintendent on. If there is anything I have that would be useful to you to look more closely at this concern, I am happy to help. As an additional thought, I just finished reading the speech on Complexity Science by Michael Crichton, as suggested by another list serve member, and I would like to suggest we keep Michael's words in mind as we think about modeling something that is so incredibly locally driven by local thinking.
