I was introduced to another tool, the Iceberg, by Tracy Benton from the Waters Foundation.

This tool enables a synthesis of stocks/flows; causal loops; and mental models.

Perhaps someone else can provide you with details and examples of applications of the Iceberg.

I have used it with my high school students in the context of endangered species and other environmental topics.
