I know from personal experience (2 sons at school) that the secret lies in the Escape Behaviors. These not only lessen stress but could/would aid building of initiative, encouragement, motivation, etc.

Would be great to see this expanded on. Will ponder, and try to build on it when its clearer. Thank you.
