Lees and all,

I have been wondering the same thing. I believe that we need a theoretical framework for the many disparate social emotional learning efforts (SEL or SEAL -- including the word "academic") that are developing around the country. The ST/SD could provide the tools and perhaps a foundational model for how the many parts fit together and interact to provide authentic learning for the whole child.

I am looking forward to this conversation, and to helping with the effort.
