Sounds to me like a great way of matching your audience. I wish I knew how to talk proper business-speak like that - it would certainly make my job easier sometimes.
By the way, if you're serious about the possibility of using a story, how about a gambit something like "You know, I was thinking about a case I came across in a Wisconsin school a couple of years ago, where ..." ?
