Thanks very much for the use of sectors, a clever way to disaggregate the complexity of this model (just two levels). Your explanation is thorough, speculates a bit on how the resource might, at least in part, be replenished. It's a fantastic explanation for people who know a thing or two about systems.

When you used the phrase "growth to a limit," your entry strummed the language chord we so want to hear. Without any systems jargon, and without any reference to a computer model, how do we tell this story with a compelling and accurate narrative? For instance, how might you tell this story to a room of 8th graders?
