You can play with Insight Maker on your iPad, however it currently does not run very well on iOS (the operating system that powers the iPad and iPhone). The main improvement that is in the works for this platform is to convert it's diagramming code to use the HTML5 Canvas element.

This will greatly improve the performance for these mobile platforms.
The second thing that needs to be done is to simplify the user interface to better suit the small screens of these devices. Namely by hiding significant amounts of functionality until they are required.

IM has the advantage though that it does not use Flash which the iPad and most mobile devices do not support at all. So once these user interface issues are fixed it should work great. Since Insight Maker is open-source, anyone is able to contribute there own interfaces to it and implement their own mobile-optimized version (any
volunteers....?)
