This exchange brings to mind an interesting comment by Russell Ackoff, "Over 90% of the problems that arise in a corporation are better solved somewhere other than where they appear." http://bit.ly/9DqbyT And while the quote says "corporation" it's probably just as true if replaced by "organization".
