This is an interesting and important issue. Please expand on your inquiry somewhat. It is a little vague in its current form.
There are some possibilities for simulataneous variables, for example by setting up a 'multiplier' that provides an instantaneous value for variable A as a function of variable B. I am currently using such a technique to evaluate blood vessel volume as a function of internal pressure. (i.e. the typical P-V curve of hydrodynamics).
However, there are other times when I want to know pressure as a function of volume. That is, if I put a certain volume into a blood vessel (or a balloon), what is the resulting pressure?
It is easy, of course, to simply invert the multiplier to accomplish this. It becomes somewhat more difficult when BOTH relationships are needed within the same model at various times, although I have some ideas as to doing this as well.
Let's discuss this further . . .
