Lees,

I don't know if folks are aware but the Department of Education has
recently released an RFA for Mathematics and Science Education Research
grants. One of the areas they support is the development of new
curriculum and/or instruction in science and math. Perhaps some of the
K12 SD folks would be interested. They can check out the RFA at the IES
site at ed.gov. I am not in a position to go after this, but I would be
happy to use my NSF experience to critique a proposal should someone put
one together.
