You are correct there is a toxic dialogue for “new” ideas. At this time they are in an information gathering mode; in January and February they plan on town hall type meetings throughout Oregon. Actions won’t be identified until later in 2005 although I think they intend on presenting in the spring an information summary to the state legislature. Information from outside the borders of Oregon might not make it through.



The web site has a menu across the top, “about Chalkboard project” then select “contact us” and they have a form you can fill out. I did and received a response via email. Under “Share your Opinion” they have online opinion surveys.

In both cases, they have a comment box where you can paste a limited message.
