Subject: difficulties in learning

Hello

I am a biomedical engineer from Egypt .I am interested in using system dynamics for educational purposes .I recognized that first year medical students having difficulties in learning some topics such as biochemistry .As a result of that ,students keep on memorizing these topics .I think this is because of two reasons.

Firstly, the topics in biochemistry are related to each other (i.e. last chapters topics are explaining some thing mentioned in the very beginning ones ).

Secondly there exists a huge loops in the human system which is difficult to keep up with .

I think SD is a powerful tool for keeping up with these looping and might help switching students from just memorizing to deeply understanding such topics .

I have started on introducing the biochemistry topics by SD methodology right now.



Finally, I hope I could receive your comments and opinion .

I am eagerly willing to knowing what was introduced in this field by SD.
