I agree with Lees understanding of the purpose of this list. Not all discussions have been relevant to my needs as a high school teacher but some have. I have maintained contact with some Systems Thinkers who have far more experience than I and these connections have inspired me, informed me and reassured me as it relates to developing "a deeper capacity for thinking" (as Barry Richmond used to put it) in my students and myself. I would have dropped out of any pursuit of applying and developing systems tools, if it were not for this list serv.
