Hi Alice,
I am a retired engineer and now a volunteer math and science tutor at a local rural high school. Your idea of a cognitive maturity model for systems thinking is very interesting. I utilize my Human Dynamics training (model) to determine a students personality dynamic so that I can better relate to them in terms of communication , problem-solving and there weak areas etc. I do mostly one on one tutoring and subbing for math teachers. This approach has been very helpful to me. Perhaps your idea would be very helpful in getting students interested in systems thinking. My model is best utilized for 11 and 12th graders. There maturity level is higher and they can better relate to my questions etc. (model).

Any how it is a very interesting idea and I will follow the emails to see where it takes us.
Cheers,
Alex Leus
