I am very interested in integrating ST/SD with the IB program. I agree that the philosophy of IB works very well with SD/ST concepts. IF we could get the IB folks interested, we can impact 1,000s of schools.

I am affiliated with a new independent school (http://www.wisinternationalschool.com/) that is modeled around the IB philosophy/curriculum and plans to be certified within the next 3 years. My wife works there and my kids are there. There is interest in integrating ST/SD into the school but there are simple startup issues to work through so we probably won't start anything seriously until next year.

They (IB) do have a research committee (http://www.ibo.org/programmes/research/committee/index.cfm). Would anyone be interested in submitting a research proposal? I'd be happy to collaborate.
