I suppose a "compare and contrast" exercise in this particular case would be instructive! (?) Of course, the Canadian example is a horror and violation of unfettered free market capitalism that is attacked constantly, not for its stability of course, but because it is presumed to artificially inflate prices and offends the NAFTA agreement. An SD exercise of both systems might lead to some insights? A sort of bathtub half-full or half-empty question!
