First of all, Peter Senge’s book The Fifth Discipline is, still, an all-time best-seller in China. And many people in our country found systems thinking resonant to the Chinese’s holistic culture. So the idea has been very well received.
On system dynamics, there are groups of people doing something on that. Some are academic, some are interest-group. And the knowledge is getting more awareness.
The problem remains, is definitely with the English literacy, as both the software and many of the teaching materials are only in English.
Interestingly, quite recently, John Sterman’s Business Dynamics has been published into Chinese language. I think this is a huge step forward for the movement in China.
