Dear All,

There was a story about a CEO who was concerned about the recent decline in sales and asked a system dynamist to predict the future sales. The system dynamist predicted that the future sales would continue to decline. After the prediction, the CEO decided to execute a massive marketing campaign, which resulted in increased sales. Then, the CEO said to the system dynamist “You predicted that the sales will continue to decline but we have very good sales!" ................The system dynamist responded, "Because of my prediction, a massive marketing campaign was carried out, otherwise the future sales would continue to decline"

I remember the following quotes somewhere (?) whether “The future is to be predicted, not chosen” or “The future is to be chosen, not predicted”
