Message:

Moodle is really a Learning Management System (LMS) or Learning Content Management System (LCMS). It is used to “host” courses and make them available to your learners. It can also track who took what course, when, and their status (complete, incomplete, pass/fail, etc). Since Moodle allows “plug-ins”, other tools like a course creation tool can be integrated with Moodle. You can develop a course with any tool available to you like PowerPoint or Dreamweaver or specific eLearning course development tools and then deploy or host the courses on Moodle.

Many of the courses in this portfolio (http://www.myshbp.com/portfolio/portfolio.html) are hosted on Moodle.

Isaac
