Dear Ursula,
I am very interested in your research project. My own dissertation (just completed this past June) looked out students' and their teachers' intuitive understandings of natural and social systems. I also looked at homologous reasoning, the ability to recognize underlying structures in different
domains. I think the literature review will be particularly helpful to
you. At some point, I hope to take the next step and look at how systemic
reasoning develops in students over time.

If you'd like a copy of my dissertation, I'm happy to send it to you in PDF
form.
