It seems to me that before we can get teachers to even read about our way of looking at the World, we need to attach it to something already important to them. If we present it as simply another one of the 100+ plus options they have for teaching, we are not going to make much progress; no matter how well written nor how well placed the articles are.
Many of us are already committed to the idea of helping students think both critically, and creatively. The trouble is that there are very few road maps as to how to approach these ends. Critical and creative thinking are part and parcel of model building. It seems to me that we would have an instant, enthusiastic audience if we packaged SD education as a means or road map to critical thinking.
