Mornin’ all,



I was glad to see the several responses to my recent posting inquiring about curriculum design opportunities, desires, and needs. I too was out of town for much of the past week, so Lees’ vacation fit my situation very well. I find myself now working with Jeff Potash to get a funding pre-proposal (not related to our work here with Education) out the door by early next week. For a couple days I will have limited time to devote to this discussion I triggered, but perhaps that is just as well. We had hoped that this posting would stimulate some conversation and ultimately some collaboration. So while I do intend to participate in the ongoing exchange, I hope that the exchange will stimulate a life (or lives) of its own, as people with common interests begin connecting and defining mutually interesting and important explorations. I guess I do have some responsibility for what my posting may trigger, but I’d like to let it grow and evolve without any restrictive guidance for a time before trying to organize and interpret it and then to guide it to a manageable set of projects to pursue under the auspices of the CLE.



Just one request at this point – now that the Listserve is back to being moderated in a timely fashion, could subsequent responders define specific and informative topic lines so that each separate discussion can be tracked and kept organized? I THINK that will make all our lives easier.



I look forward to see where these conversations take us!
