Hi all
we are a group of teacher trainers and researchers in Switzerland and (southern) Germany, who started in 2005 with a coordinated research project on systems thinking in schools (1st to ith grade), using different research approaches (action research with teachers/schools, interviewing children on their systemic concepts, evaluation of effectiveness).
Up to now our focus is not curriculum work, but we are interested in this topic an the discussion about in on the SD K-12-list.
I had the opportunity - during a sabbatical - to visit project leaders, teachers and schools involved in the Waters Foundation project in the Portland and Boston regions in September/Oct. 2005, and also met with Lees Stuntz and Linda Booth Sweeney, exchanging ideas and plans. It was a very inspiring visit giving us new impetus in our own work and i want to thank - also in this way - all of you guys, who were so friendly and helpful during my visit in the U.S.!!
So far, we have not published in English and our materials are all in German. So if, anyone on the list, can read German well, we could get in contact bilaterally. And we will stay in contact through this list anyway.
