Hi Lees,

Here's one:

Be careful about creating dichotomy between SD practitioners and practitioners in other systems related fields.

From what I have seen there are practitioners in every field who are focused on the need to educate our young and in doing so, develop a way of thinking that is conducive to solving the global issues we face today. Broadening the group of practitioners may also help with the funding issues.

Here's another:

Find a way to leverage the current standards - for instance build on the requirements for critical thinking rather than create brand new requirements for systems thinking.

This may help with buy-in from educators who understand and support the need for critical thinking. After all, systems thinking requires at its basic root, critical thinking.

Take Care,
--
Alice
