OK. Hold it right there. As I read these words and look up the book on Amazon, I become aware of a familiar problem arising for me regarding the SD community.

Jim uses this title as if everyone had heard of the book, whereas I have never heard of it. I look for the book on the UK Amazon site and can't immediately find it. And now that I come to think of it, this has often been my experience in these discussions: I've never heard of the books, events, organisations and abbreviations you talk about, and can't find them, thenI forget about them, and don't get any further forward. It's not that I couldn't find the information if I tried, it's just that it doesn't seem to be part of the everyday information available on this
(European) side of the Atlantic.

Now this "Shape of Change" sounds like a really worthwhile book, and I'm sure there are many such which I should know about. So here's my question:

Can anyone give me a "Top 3" list of 3 books which every teacher using SD should know about, and on the basis of which three books that teacher can get up and running on using SD in the classroom?
