We have here another reference to bored students. A few years ago, "Daedalus" a publication of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences had an issue on education. Several writers asserted that students were bored.

But no one seems to address the obvious question of why they are bored. Bored students can not be expected to do well in school.

We should have more attention here to education from the students viewpoint.

Why are they bored? Why are the students not excited about learning? Why do they see education as not relevant to their future?
