Professor Roberts raises a good point about lack of access to research or scholarly journals by teachers. Neither do principals and superintendents spend much time, if any, reading those types of publications. This makes it incumbent on those who are working on issues of systems thinking to find ways to communicate their work clearly and concisely and illustratively in periodicals produced by the professional associations and for general circulation trade publications, notably Education Week and Teacher magazine.
